The Best Ways to Keep Vegetables Fresh

Many housewives are pulling their hair out trying to find out the best way to keep vegetables fresh as long as possible. Simply putting them into fridge doesn’t seem to be enough. In this article, you’re gonna find out how to keep vegetables and fruits fresh for the most long-term period possible.

Fresh berries (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries) require space in the refrigerator. But the container in which they will be stored must be a little ajar in order to exclude fogging and rapid decay.

Fresh greens (parsley, dill, basil) can be stored as flowers: put them in a glass of water and keep on the kitchen table. This is both beautiful and will allow the greens to last a couple of days longer than in the refrigerator.

Wrap the top of the banana branch with a plastic bag and they will last 4-5 days longer than usual. Also, foil is ideal for storing broccoli. Wrap the vegetable in it, put it in the refrigerator, and it will retain its freshness longer.
